The group of researchers comprises professionals of various ages specialising in multiple fields. Our members supplement their daily research activities by adopting an intergenerational and interdisciplinary code which considers the education of adults along with ambient education and development as the crux of all basic learning activities.

Our group has always been at the vanguard of adult education programs in Andalusia. Tutors who were part of our educational programs gave labourers and unemployed people the opportunity to learn how to read. Courses designed for the education of young adults were subsequently developed.

As regards the concept of development, it largely refers to the model of human development. Following education programs addressing young adults, students or the unemployed, efforts are made in order to integrate immigrants working in various fields, with the help of institutions such as Andalusia Acoge. In this respect, our group takes part in the LALERA TOI project, thus contributing to the training and development of Romanian citizens living in the Andalusia region.

At present, research activities are carried out alongside two principles: ambient participation and ambient learning. Both educational profiles enable the enhancement of an educational program focusing on active participation, while the educational program itself addresses citizens having low school-levels.
