The aims of LALERA TOI project is to produce materials, approaches, innovative learning and training methods using the radio and various e-learning techniques, in order to develop the linguistic competences of Romanian care-takers to help them overcome the difficulties of traditional courses in class, which are almost impossible to attend by persons doing internal jobs.

Lalera TOI is an acronym which stands for Language Learning by Radio Transfer of Innovation. It is an international project, funded by the European Union’s programme Leonardo Da Vinci, which aims to produce a prototype of radio program for language training.

Its first phase called La.Le.Ra. was awarded with the European Label for best project on Transfer of Innovation 2008.

La.Le.Ra. TOI is a path - designed and produced through the cooperation of experts in language training, of experts in e-learning, educators, radio technicians, trainers and focuses on ten broadcasts - which aims to promote the development of language and vocational skills of  Romanian workers, particularly in the filed of elderly assistance and care.
